Summer time is half way over, granted here in Texas we only have two seasons hot and hotter. But seriously, I swear we just celebrated new years. School is starting next week around here, and the teachers are gearing up and prepping their classrooms. Before you know it'll be fall with shorter and shorter days then the holidays will be here. Eeek! Can we just have Christmas already? How awesome would that be??!

After yesterday's post on budgeting Brandon and I decided we need to start hoarding some financial nuts for Christmas now. We're making a list and checking it twice, gonna find out who's naughty and nice. ;)

We all know when Christmas is, it's not like it sneaks up on us every year…like Whoa Christmas, where did you come from? Haha So why not start prepping for it now?

How do you prep for Christmas? Do you put money aside beforehand?

  2. Great outfit!

My husband and I put aside $10 a week the first of the year until the end of the year. We've been doing it for almost 4 years and it is a life saver. Buying presents during Christmas time is not stressful ever since we started this.

  3. Thanks for stopping by my blog today (o:

Love your outfit - especially the bag. It pulls it all together!

I thought I was the only person dreaming about Christmas in August! We have made a budget and are trying to stick to it - that way any extra income goes straight to savings and will be there for Christmas. I just started making out our list of who for gifts. Once I have a plan and a list, it's easy to start saving, and even getting some of those gifts beforehand.
