The Bright side of Blogging

If you caught yesterday's post and you're still hanging around, then wow, I'm amazed. Though, I'm pretty sure I'm not alone or the only one who feels the way I do.

I can't thank you girls enough for your sweet comments and wonderful support! Thank YOU. Emily's comment helped me change my perspective about blogging altogether.

When you blog, you can't give a sh*t what other people think or say about you or your blog. Haters are gonna hate regardless. You're gonna get rude comments. And people are going to un-follow your blog. You can't let these things get you down. Otherwise, you'll always be down, pissed off, hurt or stressed out.

Learn to take what other people say about you with a grain of salt, and let their words go with the wind. Again, thank you girls so much. I love each and every one of you!

I hope y'all have a great weekend!

  1. Glad I could help a little. I feel that way at least once a week... so I'm guessing I can't blame PMS. Hope you're feeling better today :-)

  3. Hello lovely lady :)
As you know from my "here's my cookie recipe " please still love me post lol I know how ya feel!
It's so important to remember that blogging isn't life, it's a way to share life. Sometimes life is too busy to be shared and that's awesome really. Emily is right, you blog for you and no one else. The minute you start comparing yourself with others you'll hate it.

I might not get to read posts often but I always enjoy yours!
    xoxo

  4. Omigoodness, this is so true. But no matter how many times we remind each other, it's hard not to let it impact us!

I hope you're feeling encouraged and loved by your blogging community!!

  5. I totally feel ya on the numbers thing and I used to get really upset! I would reach a number and be all excited and then lose one or two followers and feel like a failure. But then I remembered that i blog for me and whoever doesn't like it can go away anyways haha :) I blog because its an outlet and sometimes when you have tons of followers, I noticed i started blogging things that i thought my readers would like and got less connected. So maybe its a blessing in disguise! :)
