Engaged // Stacy & DJ
As a photographer, your job is to take great pictures, right? Right. But your job of just being a photographer isn't the end, you're also the coordinator, the stylist, the choreographer and hell, even a mathematician. I kid you not. I am forever playing with angles, depth of field, lighting and the mechanics of my camera: the shutter speed, f-stop and aperture, all to achieve a certain look. It can definitely get overwhelming at times, but having wonderful [and gorgeous, and photogenic, and fun and willing-to-try-anything] clients makes your job soooo much easier and all worth while.
A couple of weeks ago I shared a little sneak peek of Stacy and DJ's engagement shoot. Well now I have the rest of those images. Stacy and DJ's shoots (yes, we did multiple session) were absolutely effortless, and I do not throw that word around lightly. I mean, these two were absolutely adorable to watch and so easy to work with. Their love for each other is evident in every single picture. I loved editing every one (and when you've got over 100 images to edit well, now that's a lot of love).
I am in LOVE with these photos!!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots! That last one is definitely my favorite.
ReplyDeleteThat last one needs to be blown up on a big canvas and put in their bedroom or living room!

ReplyDeletethe save the date on the bottom of their shoes is one of the cutest photos i have ever seen. i love it! they definitely look like they are in love
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! The "save the date" with the cowboy boots is especially adorable :)
ReplyDeleteThese photos are so great! I love the idea for the save the date.
ReplyDeleteIt definitely helps if people have an idea of what they want and are comfortable in front of a camera. I hate posing which makes me the photographers worst nightmare!
These are amazing Alisha! I think the Save the Date has to be my fave! Beautiful couple and work!
