Scenes from Our Thanksgiving
There's just something about a fried turkey that tastes so much better than an oven baked turket. It's much more flavorful and juicier!
We like our turkeys young! The younger the better. Though, that does sound a little creepy when you hear a grown man say that. Ha!
We had a few more laughs at the turkey's expense. I can't promise they were all clean jokes, but I doubt that turkey cared. A few times we had to pick ourselves up off the floor. Dirty minds, they get you every time! :P
Injecting the bird with our favorite sauces.
Then into the frier and on to the table...
Then we had some fun with side walk chalk!
We had so much fun this year eating great food and shopping till the early morning hours. I'm so incredibly thankful for the time spent with my family and loved ones - because after the turkey's been eaten and our bellies have been stuffed, it's the memories that will stick with us forever.
It's such a wonderful holiday! Wish we had it here in Europe as well!!
