Sunday Afternoon Drive
Sometimes I feel Brandon and I are already turning into an old married couple.
We like to sit alone together and enjoy each other's company. We like to fight about nothing. We like to make up after the fights about nothing. We like to hold hands. And, we love to take Sunday afternoon drives. I mean, all we're really missing is the wrinkles and gray hair. Come to think of it, B does have a few grays. Does that count?
Well, yesterday was a day for the books (or blog in my case). With nothing really to do and no place to go we headed out on the open road. No destination. No plan. No schedule. We drove. We talked. We sat. There was silence. There was laughter. And there was singing. Yesterday was an amazing day. Those are days I want to remember when I'm 90.
And a quote from one of my favorite movies: "At that moment I Knew. I knew the way you know about a good melon." See that clip here. Old people always make me smile.
I love you, handsome, and I can't wait to grow old with you.
