My 30 for 30: Numero Uno
Top: Target, Cardigan: Forever21, Capris: Target, Shoes: Blowfish,
Necklace: thrifted, Bracelets: Buckle
My first of thirty outfits for my 30 for 30 challenge. Last week I mentioned I'd shop my closet instead of hitting up the mall to help save our budget and keep our wallets happy. I would never put shopping before bills or rent, but husband gives me a hard time when I tend to shop more than once a week (online included). To say he's happy about this project is an understatement. He claims I have too many clothes as it is. :) Win-win? I think so.
Can you believe it's June already? Goodness, if you were down here in Texas with me, you'd believe it. Today's high hit 98F degrees. Did you hear me?! I said 98F degrees! That's a scorcher, and it's not even August. Hence, that's why these pictures were taken in the comfort and a/c in our little home. I can only imagine by the time August hits it'll be close to mid 100s. I love pool time, playing in the water and soaking up some vitamin D. How 'bout it, are you ready for summer?
LOVE this outfit Alisha. Seriously, so much. I've seen quite a few people do this 30 for 30 thing and I think it's such a great idea!
ReplyDeleteVery cute outfit Alisha! I love the cardigan :)
ReplyDeleteI love that doing this 30 for 30 challenge is a "win-win" for you and your husband. That's the whole idea of it right?
ReplyDeleteSummer is already gone here in the Philippines. It's now rainy hehe. So I'm getting ready for the rainy season.
Love your outfit by the way. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this.
My blog is SO far from a fashion blog, but I'm loving the premise behind 30 for 30. I've been contemplating doing this next month!
ReplyDeleteLove the outfit - very nautical-ish. :) And I want your shoes. Now, please. ;)
Love the shoes!!! I love the cardigan too.
ReplyDeleteYou are adorable!! It has been so hot lately here, too. UGH!! Tomorrow is supposed to be our first 100+ day!

ReplyDeleteGreat start to a 30/30 challenge! I'd love to see what 30 pieces you picked.
ReplyDeleteI love the 30/30 challenge! My friend just completed it last month and it was so fun to see how many different outfits she created. At the end of your 30 days you should make a collage of all your outfits so people can see the variety~
ReplyDeleteI'm following your blog and look forward to future posts
