Nom, nom, nom + a Wedding

OMG. Never in my life have I ever eaten so much yummy food in such a short period of time. I mean, Thanksgiving can give this weekend a run for it's money.

After the long grueling hour drive home from work on Friday, then scrambling to pack the essentials for a weekend trip, Brandon and I set out for our trip to Austin, Texas for a beautiful wedding in the country.

We stopped to eat at a nice Mexican food restaurant on the way. Not realizing I had ordered the biggest plate on the menu, Brandon looked to me and said, "Hungry much?!" I laughed in response then continued to munch on chips and salsa. I am greedy, so I need rice and beans AND tortillas with my fajita dinner, but the portions are pretty big, so it's good to share if you can. :) We finally made it to Round Rock where stayed with a few friends for our trip, found our bed and crashed for the night.

The next morning we went to brunch with our friends, Chance and Amber, to a place called 620 Cafe and Bakery. Definitely splurge and get their big boy breakfast - eggs, bacon, sausage, wheat toast, grits and pancakes! Man, that was good food. After brunch we spent the afternoon doing some retail therapy at Zara, Forever 21, and Macy's.

Then we headed back to the house to change and go to Brandon's mom's wedding in Coupland, Texas where there was even more food, if you can imagine!! Their wedding was absolutely gorgeous. You can’t beat the beautiful spring colors they chose. And the small town church with the rural background was heaven. Their wedding felt intimate and cozy, simple yet so sweet. Definitely something from a dream.

Here are a few teasers. More to come tomorrow!
