Here's to You, Mom

To the breakfasts in bed, to the staying up late to nurse a cold, to kissing a scraped knee when a band-aid just wouldn't do, to healing a broken heart, to the 24 hour long road trips to out-of-state soccer tournaments, to the hugs and tears we shared as I went off to college, to the happy memories we shared when I returned home, to the joy and celebration of planning a wedding, and to the kiss I gave you before I said "I do". Here's to many more memories I hope to share with you. Mom, you are my best friend, my rock, and the one I look up to. I love you.
