I loved her first... {Father's Day}
I cannot tell you how fortunate and blessed I am to have this man in my life. This man is unlike anyone in the world. He can tell when something is bothering me. He knows when I need a simple hug. He has always been there for me when I needed him the most. He knows more about me than I probably know about myself.
This man is....my daddy!
He loves the song I Loved Her First by Heartland, and always makes sure Brandon and I both know it. We even danced to it at my wedding!
My dad has always been a constant source of strength. When I needed advice about financial help while living on my own, he was my guide. He is always willing to lend a hand. He is a partner to my mother, an adviser to his children, and a friend when needed.
He has an understanding heart with constant readiness to help through encouragement and forgiveness. He has a special generosity and affection that only a father can have. He means so many things, and I appreciate him more and more every day.
Thank you Daddy! I love you.

Awww! This is so sweet... and that first pic of you looking teary eyed just might make me a little misty too! That song "I Loved Her First" makes my waterworks turn on too. It's such a great song. You and your dad looked wonderful on your wedding day. I'm sure he's incredibly proud of you... you can tell from the pictures. Love.
