Project 365

Lately, I've been hearing a lot about this project, and well, I'm not a real 'new year's resolution' junkie, so I thought this would be something I could really enjoy! For those of you who don't know or are not aware of PROJECT 365, please allow me to tell you a little more about it.

Start by finding your weapon of choice. Mine is a Nikon L110. Then let inspiration take over. Take one photo a day for a consecutive three hundred and sixty five days of the year.

You don't have to be a professional photographer, I'm sure not! You don't have to have a fancy expensive camera, you can use the camera in your phone or a disposable one if you like. And you sure don't have to start on January 1st. Start when you feel you can go 365 days in a row! And remember, just have fun, that's what I'm gonna do!

You're not going to be graded at the end of this project, but you will be able to look back and see how far you've come taking pictures throughout the year. And this time next year you'll be amazed at yourself!!

I've created a new page above titled of course, Project 365 (I know, how original!), but it'll be a way to document all my photos. I'll also be using Twitter, Tumblr and my new Blogpress app for iPhone to upload and talk about my pictures. Check out this article for more info on the project and how to start your own!! :)

All the cool kids are doing it, you should too! ;) What are you waiting for?!

  1. OMG...you are like the 5th person I'm following to do this and now I really really want to do it! Peer pressure! Hahahaha. I can't wait to see all of your pictures!

  2. I think this is such a great idea! For Christmas I got the Project Life kit, which is basically this same idea. It's a photo album/scrapbook combo and you add a picture and a little journaling card every day. I can't wait to start! I think both are such great ways to document a year!
