Making Progress on the House
The past couple of weekends have been very productive when it comes to finishing our house. And thankfully we're starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. At first, it seemed like it was one thing after another, and we could never get enough done. Well, that ended this past weekend. B and I cleaned out all of the tools, extra plumbing parts, stray pieces of insulation, and made sure the house was ready for dry wall to be delivered on Tuesday.
I also did a little shopping at Lowe's to check out doors, trim and base boards, paint colors, and flooring. Which, by the way, has been so much fun! I can now finally say that we have our countertops and back-splah picked out (a special thanks to Mrs Pat for being so patient with me), and might I just add that they're gorgeous. Would you expect anything less? I can't wait to see what it looks like when it's all done, and we can finally move in. Now we just need to make a decision on what tile we want in the bathrooms.
The past 10 months have without a doubt had their fair share of ups and downs and disagreements. Someone should've had a camera on B and I all those times while we were working on the house. Some of the things we said to each other, eeek!! It wasn't pretty. Hurt feelings and disgruntled attitudes between the two of us doesn't make for good company. Drama, drama, drama. But, I wouldn't want to go through this process with anyone else.
I love you, B, and I can't wait to move in to our first home together.

You two are getting there! Look at all that drywall. Yikes, there's lots of it. Your house is going to be even more appreciated since the two of you are working on it together. Once it's done you'll really enjoy all the hard work you've been doing.
