Twenty-four

I woke up yesterday morning
My bed warm and comfortable
Not feeling any older (that stiffness in my neck doesn't count, mmk?!)

When I rolled over to see husband I was greeted with three sweet words 
"Happy birthday, beautiful"

Twenty-four, I thought. Just another year… 

But then, when you think of it, 
The best birthdays are the ones that haven’t arrived yet 
And that makes me look that much more forward to twenty-four 

Looking back twenty-three was one-hell-of-a-year!
I hope you all enjoyed my birthday as much as I did

Now we're off to celebrate Husband's birthday today!
