Rough Days...
We all have them. You know, the days where nothing seems to go your way. The days where everything you say makes the next person hate you. Oblivious to the words coming out of my mouth sounding like daggers. Piercing. Bitter. Saturday was just one of those days. Everything I said pissed Brandon off, and everything he did pissed me off. I snapped. My tone, rough. Maybe it was just something to do with the fact that I was PMSing. Poor husband of mine. Either way, it wasn't right, and we both felt awful about our behavior the entire day. But nothing beats it when husband's at work and calls apologizing for being stubborn and pushing my buttons. I apologize back and tell him I'm sorry for this blasted curse that all females HAVE to endure. One day, mother nature, you're not gonna win!!
I love you Brandon, and thank you for loving me in spite of my wonderful mood swings!! You're the best.

I hate those days! My boyfriend and I had a day like that Sunday...I was in a cranky mood being a capital B, and he was trying to put up with me!
ReplyDeleteBut hey...you know it's true love when they stick with you and work it out! :) Everyone has rough days..we'll get through them!!

I can completely relate! I was PMSing so horribly on Saturday which happened to be my husband's birthday! He said to me in a sad voice "you're mean". I felt soooo bad! I apologized and we got over it and celebrated his birthday but I'm telling you, it was a rollercoaster hell! At least I haven't cried yet because that usually happens when I'm PMSing. But I have used my favorite PMS phrase, "I'm depressed", a million times.
ReplyDeleteWe all have rough days darling! Don't stress about it, hence why I have my chocolate stash! E knows that if I head for the chocolate he better leave me alone, at least until 5 minutes post chocolate meditation time! Hehe!
ReplyDeleteHave a good day!
We all have our days. (:
ReplyDeleteThe most important part is that you both knew you were in the wrong at one point, and then you both apologized. My husband and I have those days too. What is it with men and pushing buttons though?! I can relate.
Hope you have a wonderful week, Alisha!
Alisha, I wanted to let you know I can completely relate to this! My boyfriend and get on each others' nerves when it is that time of the month. It's awful, because most of the time, I know it is only happening because of how I'm feeling. ha Otherwise, we get along great!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great day!
Gah! Mother nature has been a meanie to me too lately!
ReplyDeleteGirl, we all have those days! There's nothing sweeter or more true of the character of God, than apologizing for wrong behavior and saying I love you.
ReplyDeleteClearly I blog about these types of issues at least once a week so I can appreciate this :) You guys are too cute. Glad to know you can work it out too sista! Lots of love xo
ReplyDeleteI have been having a week of this...I can't seem to say anything right...like ever!!!! Thank goodness that moods change and it won't be like this forever :) xx Cat
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice to know others have those days too! I had one of those weeks last week...thank goodness it is over! Here's to hoping that today was better than yesterday and tomorrow will only be better than today.
